At Cardinal Heating & Cooling, we always recommend scheduling your system maintenance during spring for your air conditioner and fall for your heater. This ensures that your equipment would be ready for the seasons where they will be most used. As a maintenance agreement holder, you won’t have to worry about missing a tune-up in case you forget. We will give you a courtesy call or email to inform you of your next maintenance appointment.
Some of the procedures you can expect from our heating system maintenance include:
- Checking of burners
- Adjusting the gas pressure
- Checking and adjusting pilot operation
- Lubricating all moving parts
- Monitoring flue draft for safe operation
- Checking and tightening all loose electrical connections
- Checking and testing safety controls
- Monitoring voltage and amperage draw on all motors
- Adjusting the airflow for proper temperature rise
- Checking heat anticipator settings
